Where are you guys?

we're right here dont worry! I know we should have been on tonight but after last wednesdays broadcast Drip and I decided we needed to take a meeting and figure out our shit! so here we are at King Tut's Cafe not really doing much of anything, however making more progress than we thought....WEIRD! So Come Monday we will have a few new ideas hopefuly implemented into the show. We strive to make the show as interesting as possible for you and we feel that we have not been bringing our A game to the table. So bear with us a little bit. The growing pains are apparent and we apologize for them but it makes for a better show in the long run we feel.  In the mean time heres a few things I wanted to talk about... Uncle Jesse? Since when did black holes become a racial slur? I swear that anything with the word black in it can be contrived to mean something racial these days. apparently people in Dallas are a little sensitive...

County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.

Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections "has become a black hole" because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.

Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a "white hole."

That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.

Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term.

And speaking of black things, that nothing Jesse Jackson seems to have a bit of egg on his face after saying that he would like to "cut [Obama's] nuts off." Now I'm not a racist by any means, but I'm happy that any time one of these idiots says something to make them look like complete jackasses. Who's more racist? Uncle Jessie or Jesse Jackson? They seem to look awfully similar these days. uncle jessie  Jesse jackson
Men at work... Thats right, MEN! How many women do you see working in a construction site? well if you ever did see any I'm sure that you probably mistook them for men. Understandable. you aren't sexist don't worry but thats just according to your boy Diaz. Apparently Cynthia Good doesn't agree with me.

n the battle of the sexes, women's magazine editor Cynthia Good said this was a skirmish she had to fight.

Across Atlanta they stood, orange signs with black letters that read "Men At Work" or "Men Working Ahead." Sometimes, the signs stood next to women working alongside the men. Good demanded Atlanta officials remove the signs and last week, Atlanta Public Works Commissioner Joe Basista agreed. Personally I think that Joe Basista looks more like a woman than any female construction worker.   iPhone 3G I think the 3G stands for 3000 geeks waiting for a phone that they already have   Today I decided that it would be a good idea to go to the ol Apple Store to go get an FM transmitter for my iPod. I knew that today they released the new iPhone, but seeing as it was around 1 o'clock I figured that all the people that wanted their iPhones would have one by now... I WAS WRONG.  I arrived to meet what must have been close to a thousand people waiting to get their new piece of gadgetry. Now last time I checked, the new iPhone looks exactly like the old one and pretty much works the same. Its still on crappy ass AT&T so I just dont see what justifies standing in line for a day or even for more than 5 minutes to get the damn thing. Apparently everyone in line thinks this device must cure cancer or something. Good luck curing that tumor toots!

Guess what?!

4 Jun 2008 In: Blog
We have an official schedule for the show! The Drip and Diaz Show will be broadcast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9pm to 11pm.
just another step towards a sense of professionalism.
so for Friday we are going to open the phone lines for a bit (granted we get them running) and going to be doing a small competition on who can find either a video or a story of people just doing stupid shit! send us your entries and we will vote on them tomorrow.
I have heard from a few people last night that were not able to tune in because they could not get the feed. I'm not sure on how to fix it, but in the meantime you can check out our shows on ustream. tv/ddslive and now you can watch us live on www. dripanddiaz. com. we also have an account on viddler that you can check out the full episode on. www. viddler. com/dripanddiaz. so until that problem is fixed, accessibility should not be a problem.
one more thing before I bore you all to tears, I really appreciate everyone who has taken their time to come and listen to us, and i know its been a bit of a bumpy ride getting started (especially recently) but i truly believe that we have finally settled in the right place. yesterday was a great example. So SPREAD THE WORD! like any other show getting stuff started we are hurting for viewers. mention us to a friend, maybe someone at work.
anything helps at this point! and of course check us out on Friday 9 to 11pm! Thanks everyone!

Just a little reminder!

Post Party Drip and Diaz!

19 May 2008 In: Blog
Well guys after a nice day to recover after that fun fun party I'm finally starting to feel human again. Thank god. First and foremost, let me thank all of you who came to what became the Drip and Diaz Summer Kick off Party. It turned out to be a damn good time. Not so much for the people who didnt show up. Especially those who said they would come but convieniently seemed to not have their phones on them... hmmm.... oh well their loss! We had a hell of a time that night and I will work on getting some pics up. I know we had barely any listeners that night mostly becuase 90 percent of our fan base was at the party. So if you feel like reliving the fun that was the party I will be posting the podcast up later today, that is, if my boy Drip gets me the audio! hint hint buddy! anyways folks, stay tuned for the podcast and if possible a live show tonight. Who knows?!

Hey there people! Diaz here. I just wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you all here to the Drip and Diaz exeperience. Incredible isnt it? well as you can see there isnt a lot going on here on the site. Its brand new so cut us a little slack. So in the mean time you can find us on www.myspace.com/dripanddiaz www.justin.tv/dripanddiaz www.bryantdiaz.com but we are on a million other media sites right now as well. so theres no shortage of ways to find us. I'm sure you are asking yourself, who are these idiots? well let me tell you who we are. Drip and Diaz have been buddies since back in the day in high school. Now we are just buddies trying to do our thing in the medium of podcasting. Diaz is an aspiring radio talk jock and Drippy is...well hes just Drippy. After not being able to find anyone to podcast with here in AZ, I was pretty bummed. Drippy came back from PA to come and podcast with me and the rest is pretty much history... or at least slowly it is becoming that. So now we podcast as often as we can and talk about god knows what. Much in the fashion of Seinfeld, we are a show about nothing, and while that is the basis of the show, it is about so much more. How much more you ask? well if you give us a listen then you will be able to find out you silly goose.
